This is an indulgence and though something I have wanted to do for a long time, I feel a little embarrassed about my some time belief that anyone else would be interested in what I think, feel or write.    My rhymes and what I rather grandly term poetry is about memories, friendship, emotions. Some of this has been shared with friends and family who have often been encouraging.

If you, my dear friends and family, recognise yourselves in the various ramblings, I  hope you are not offended because no offence is meant at any time,

I don’t know how my blog will develop or if it will be read by anyone but my nearest and dearest but here I go, plunging into a new world and new experience just to see where it will take me.   If nothing else comes of it maybe it will  give my grandchildren another perspective of a woman they think they know.
